The hybrid AI / live-action process
Read this before you submit. Every performer onboarded through Digital Talent Studios receives the same explanation.
What a hybrid production is
A hybrid production shoots real performers and then extends that footage with AI-assisted tools: synthetic environments, crowd replication, digital doubles for stunts, age adjustment and language dubbing. The performance itself is always human-originated.
What we capture from you
A four-angle full-body set and a four-angle half-body set give our artists the reference geometry needed to build an accurate digital double. Your audition video (ten minutes maximum) shows range, voice and movement.
Likeness consent
Consent is granted per production and is required before any submission is stored. It covers the creation of a digital likeness from your reference media for the productions you are cast in. It does not transfer ownership of your likeness, and it can be withdrawn in writing for future work.
Compensation and credit
Hybrid shots that use your likeness are treated as performance work. You are credited as a performer and compensated under the terms of the production's agreement, whether the final frame is captured on camera or generated in post.
Accessibility and representation
We ask about handicap and accessibility requirements so that set, stage and capture sessions can be planned properly. We also record your current representation status so agents and managers are looped in from first contact.
Agency representation & 15% commission
Digital Talent Studios acts as an exclusive digital IP licensing agency representing talent. An agency commission of 15% applies to production compensation payouts under project agreements. You acknowledge this in the submission form before your profile enters the casting database.
